A classic push-pull 6V6 class A Tube amplifier that faithfully produces the sounds that made the music of the 1960 so popular. With a new power supply design, the FB-10 now supplies a conservative 14 Watts of clean, undistorted music power in the 'Clean' mode and more than 16 Watts in the 'Fat' mode where the rich, warm distortion of tube amplifiers comes through beautifully. The FB-10 uses a 12AX7 twin triode in the preamplifier and a 12AU7 in the phase inverter/ driver circuit. A custom built 20 watt audio output transformer is used to supply superb bass response with clear mid and high frequencies. The Head Enclosure is hand crafted from Baltic Birch Plywood and covered with Black Tolex or other custom vinyl for rugged, gig ready service. Special custom cabinet designs are also available including a beautiful natural wood. These amplifiers are all hand made and hand wired in the tradition of the 1950's and 60's. The wiring is all point to point in the amplifier sections, to minimize noise and hum pickup. The 6V6 tubes are carefully matched high emission tubes with no leakage. They are selected from a large stock of NOS and used tubes.
